Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is launching new initiatives aimed at empowering the non-profit sector and increasing its contribution to the country’s industry and mining.
In line with the National Industrial Strategy and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the ministry has developed a comprehensive plan that aims to strengthen the sector’s position.
The main areas of focus include upgrading the skills of the labour force, attracting investment, expanding the range of services provided and stimulating non-oil exports. This is reported by Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The ministry currently oversees five industrial associations and intends to utilise its research, training and networking resources to support the growth of both the industrial and mining sectors.
