Iran to Host Global Tourism Summit With 100 International Experts

The Iranian city of Isfahan is preparing to welcome a delegation of 100 tourism experts from across the world for a landmark event, “100 Tour Operators in Half of the World,” taking place from 19 to 23 February. This is reported by Tehran Times, a partner of TV BRICS.

This five-day gathering will bring together leading tourism professionals, tour guides, and international travel specialists.

Among the participants are tourism experts from India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia, China, and other countries.

The meeting will outline a number of special Iranian programmes, including a Сhogan (polo) match at the UNESCO-listed Naqsh-e Jahan Square, which will be held in cooperation with the Chogan Federation.

The host country aims to showcase the heritage of Isfahan, which has more than 22,000 registered historical sites, and strengthen international cooperation with the participating countries in the tourism sector.
