Iran will host numerous art and cultural festivals during the upcoming year dedicated to Persian culture, said Ali Forouzanfar, Director of the General Directorate of Culture and Guidance.
During a press conference, Ali Forouzanfar announced the organisation of a series of festivals in the fields of performing arts, music, fine arts and literature in the province next year. This is reported by Tehran Times, a partner of TV BRICS.
The official specified that the Tehran Art Festival will be a large-scale event covering almost all artistic genres in the coming year, emphasising its focus on nurturing youth, finding talents and supporting education.
The cost of organising the festival is estimated at about US$400,000. According to Ali Forouzanfar, artists from different countries will be invited to participate in the event. He noted that some winners and selected works of the event will be presented at the Fajr International Film Festival.
