The Indian government has expressed its willingness to cooperate with Zimbabwe and share its development experience. This was stated by the Indian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Bramha Kumar. He noted that Zimbabwe could benefit from India’s experience in industrialisation, particularly through private sector involvement.
Kumar highlighted the successful cooperation of Indian companies already operating in Zimbabwe. He also mentioned plans to invest in the country’s energy sector, as reported by The Herald, a partner of TV BRICS.
The Ambassador emphasised that the relationship between the two countries should evolve into stronger economic ties, increased investment, and enhanced bilateral trade. This is particularly important for Zimbabwe, which aims to develop its industrial base and attract foreign investment.
