A new means of transportation, the AS700 manned airship, has entered service in China and will be used for tourist flights. This is reported by China Daily, a partner of TV BRICS.

The AS700 airship can carry up to 10 people and has a maximum range of 700 kilometres. The airship is characterised by safety, thanks to a special shell design and a system with adjustable thrust vector, which allows it to perform vertical take-off and landing.

The airship has already received certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and will begin commercial operation in Guilin, known for its beautiful scenery. This aircraft can carry up to 10 people, including the pilot, and offers a unique bird’s-eye view of the surrounding area.

The potential of airships in China is very large. The low-altitude market is expected to grow rapidly, and the AS700 could be a key element in this industry.

The development of the AS700 is an important step in the development of China’s aviation industry and the creation of a new segment of the tourism market.
