Exports of green coffee from Brazil totalled 3.39 million 60-kilogramme bags in July, an increase of 25.7 per cent compared with the same month last year.
Shipments of canefol coffee were up 82.2 per cent year-on-year in July. This is reported by Brasil 247, a partner of TV BRICS.
Exports of Arabica beans rose 13 per cent to 2.49 million bags, instant coffee rose 26 per cent to 376,524 bags and roasted and ground coffee rose 5,552 bags, up 47 per cent.
From January to July, Brazil’s total coffee exports rose 46.3 per cent, with the increase driven by green canephora beans, which rose 313.7 per cent.
