TV BRICS Projects To Be Made Available On Popular Entertainment Media Resources In Western Balkans

News and programmes of the TV BRICS international media network will be broadcast on popular entertainment media platforms for young people in the Western Balkans. The respective cooperation agreement was signed by the CEO of TV BRICS, Janna Tolstikova, and the General Director of Entertainment Lab Doo Beograd, a production media company operating under the MTS (Muzička televizija Srbije) brand, Sunčica Mandić.

“The concept of TV BRICS programming is extremely important for the Western Balkans. The media network creates and spreads news that paints a picture of a multipolar world, which is absent in the information space of the Serbian media. We, like TV BRICS, are focused on topics that unite different countries. We hope that our cooperation will contribute to strengthening cultural ties between BRICS participants and partners, especially in the field of musical and artistic creativity,” said Milan Đolović, director of the MTS News 24 TV channel, which is scheduled to be launched in 2024.

Muzička televizija Srbije (Music Television of Serbia) started to take shape more than 30 years ago. During this time, MTS has helped in the formation of hundreds of bands and musicians who have become the cultural heritage of the country, established a music award, and organised many concerts and festivals. Today, Muzička televizija Srbije consists of the media platform MTS TV and the TV channels MOBA and MUZZIK TV, which are also available in Macedonia, Croatia, and Bulgaria, and in the future – in Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia, and Herzegovina. In 2024, the company plans to launch a new TV channel, MTS News 24. MTS actively cooperates with many national media, including the state broadcaster of Serbia (Radio televizija Srbije).

“TV BRICS international media network is open for cooperation not only with BRICS members but with all the countries of the world. We are glad that the Republic of Serbia has become our first partner on the Balkan Peninsula. The Serbian people are rich in their culture, traditions, and creative heritage in different spheres – music, cinema, theatre, and fine arts. It is these topics that help strengthen international ties and make up the foundation of TV BRICS informational policy. On the part of Muzička televizija Srbije, we see a positive attitude and high interest in working together, which leads us to hope for success. We are confident that the programmes of Serbia’s popular entertainment media projects will be both interesting and in demand throughout the BRICS+ information space”

With the participation of TV BRICS, the Serbian partners will open news sections on their resources about the BRICS countries and will air the media network’s programmes on culture, music, and education. MTS has already expressed interest in broadcasting the premiere programme, Laboratorium, about the latest technological developments and world-class scientific discoveries made in Russia. In turn, TV BRICS will be able to show popular entertainment projects from the Republic of Serbia to its viewers and recommend them to foreign media partners.
