ANC’s Norman Mashabane, Peter Mokaba Postpone Regional Conferences after failing to Meet 70% Threshold

The ANC in the Norman Mashabane and Peter Mokaba regions in Limpopo have postponed their elective conferences to early May after branches failed to meet the 70% threshold required by the party’s constitution to sit. 

Another reason provided for the postponement is to allow the party’s structures to go through the compulsory Foundation Course as mandated by ANC secretary general Fikile Mbalula.

The South African Municipal Workers’ Union (SAMWU) has locked horns with the King Sabatha Dalindyebo Local Municipality over the process that was followed to hire a Chief Risk Officer.
